Ajisen Ramen- Rich in Collagen
Ajisen Ramen’s nutrition value lies in its unique and delicious cream white soup base. The soup contains a host of nutritional ingredients and is full of “natural collagen”, or “HTC”. According to the Food Science and Nutrition Engineering Department of China Agricultural University, the HTC in Ajisen's Tonkotsu soup makes up about 15.5% of its total protein content, a relatively high level compared to other soup bases.
HTC is a natural substance found in human bones and skin. It helps the renewal of skin and bone tissues such as cartilage and tendon, and is the richest form of protein in animals. The primary function of HTC is to help maintain the condition and structure of skin and organs, and to repair damaged tissues. HTC mainly contains Glycine, Proline, and Hydroxyproline, and is commonly found in protein-rich food. The consumption of animal collagen over a long period of time can help the skin retain moisture.
